Steamforged at GenCon Spring Showcase 2021
We miss conventions. But while we can’t all be together in person, the lovely folks at GenCon wanted to help keep everyone entertained and informed with more digital content throughout the year, starting with the GenCon Spring Showcase on March 6-7, 2021.

What's the GenCon Spring Showcase?
GenCon is the USA’s biggest tabletop gaming event and for plenty of gamers worldwide, pounding the bustling aisles of gaming publishers and retailers every August, is a must.
As a spectacle, GenCon takes over the Indiana Convention Center, the entire field of Lucas Oil Stadium, and several downtown hotels. So much goes on over the convention weekend that the organisers of GenCon decided to host digital events throughout the year to give gamers more chances to engage with their favourite publishers.
The first of many, GenCon Spring Showcase, will feature two full days of gaming content on March 6 and 7, including competitions, deals, demos and reveals.
What's Steamforged Games doing at the GenCon Spring Showcase?
We couldn’t ignore our next Kickstarter, Monster Hunter World: The Board Game. We’ll be revealing the Kickstarter launch date live on Twitch, Saturday March 6 at 12pm Pacific / 3pm Eastern / 8pm GMT. We’ll be streaming on GenConTV, where Co-Founder and CEO Rich Loxam will be giving the latest info on the Kickstarter and showing off some of the miniatures from the game for the very first time.
We’ll also be announcing what’s coming from Steamforged Games this Spring, including new releases for Epic Encounters, Animal Adventures and Godtear.
We’re running some competitions, so watch the stream to find out how you can win a Kickstarter Pledge for Monster Hunter World: The Board Game, and check out our digital booth on the GenCon Discord to find out how you can win your choice of two Epic Encounters boxes.

What next?
Steamforged will be at GaryCon (March 25-28) and AwSHUX (April 23-25), as well as the GAMA trade show (March 16-17).
Our presence at each of these events will be digital, but I can’t wait to get the team back on the road so you can see their faces (from a safe and sensible distance).
