Newsmachine: Warmachine Organised Play Kits now available
The official Warmachine Organised Play Kit has landed and it’s here to power your events.
The Warmachine community is humming with power. Warcasters and warlocks tuning up, tables set, and organisers ready to roll. Time to fuel the fight with a brand new Organised Play Kit (OP Kit) built to supercharge your events.

Inside you’ll find 3 high-quality art prints, 16 focus tokens, 8 exclusive full-art command cards, and official sign-up sheet to keep your event running smoothly.
You can also scan the QR code inside the kit to download trophy STL files, including the P3 trophy for ‘Best Painted’ and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies for Warmachine, including three plinths and toppers to mix and match as you see fit.

How to get an Organised Play Kit
Organised Play Kits can be used for regular Warmachine matched play events, but did you know there’s also an official Iron Gauntlet circuit?
Earn points by playing in qualifiers, then join us for the momentous Iron Gauntlet finals which we run at Lock & Load US and EU each year! (For more info, check out the Iron Gauntlet page.)
To make your event an Iron Gauntlet qualifier, you’ll need to apply for it to be sanctioned. Not every event can make the cut, as there’s a limit to the number of events we can sanction each year, but every application will be considered.
Anyone can apply to run an Iron Gauntlet (IG) qualifier, including community Tournament Organisers (TOs), retail stores, and Warstores (official Warmachine stockists).
How to apply for an Iron Gauntlet Qualifier
Whether you’re a community TO or a store, the process is the same:
-
Register your event on Longshanks.
-
Submit your event details using this form.
-
If approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email — and your free OP Kit and Iron Gauntlet trophy will be on its way!
How to apply for a non-IG Qualifier
Not running an IG qualifier? You can still get involved! OP Kits are also available to buy for verified events. Just fill out this form and, once your event is approved, you’ll get access to purchase the kit.
Note for Warstores
Warstores are entitled to one free OP Kit, which they can claim by reaching out to their account manager. This is separate from the Iron Gauntlet sanctioning process. Any store that wants to run an IG qualifier will need to apply for sanctioning using the steps above.
The new Organised Play Kit replaces the current TO discount code with something far better — real rewards for your tables.
Advice on how to use the kit
The OP kit is designed to help you run your event. You can use the OP Kit to run an event or activity however you choose, such as narrative events or any other type of event using the contents of the kit.
The command cards and focus tokens make great handouts or spot prizes, while the art prints and trophies are perfect for awards like 1st/2nd/3rd place, best painted, or most sporting. You can also mix and match the trophy toppers and plinths to create your own unique prizes.
The OP kit comes in a box featuring Warmachine artwork and contains enough items to support 8 players.
Running a bigger event?
If you’ve got 48 or more registered Warmachine players, or your event has a proven history of getting 48 or more Warmachine players, we may be able to offer additional support. Get in touch here with your event name, date, Longshanks link, and support request.
So register your event, rally your players, and lead your community into the next great era of Warmachine organised play!
