Out in the jungles of Alchiere, the Kithguard donβt wage war in the open. They crouch silently in the mist, keep watch from the green, then strike with steel, smoke, and a roar of bellowing gunfire that rattles the canopy.
Now, Major Abraham Stormcraw leads that brutal style of warfare in the Kithguard Auxiliary Expansion.Β Let's take a look...

Major Abraham Stormcraw
Another relic from the old days of trollkin war chiefs, Stormcraw leads from front. Fierce, proud, and forever eager to outdo his longtime rival Gunnbjorn, he brings the old ways crashing into the Kithguardβs modern war with all the subtlety of a ravenous bellowing dire troll.
Kithguard were forged as a disciplined fighting force to defend kith and kriel, blending military structure with hard-earned battlefield experience. Stormcraw's force does exactly that, giving you new ways to control space, apply pressure, and strike from unexpected angles.Β
Throat Cutters
Armed with massive machetes and heavy carbines, the Throat Cutters are the Kithguardβs elite jungle fighters and close combat specialists. They blend Trencher discipline, old kriel warrior instincts, and lessons learned from Alchiereβs native fighters into one nasty package.
Theyβre scouts, skirmishers, and executioners all at once. If the Kithguard wants a target found, flanked, and finished, these are the trollkin for the job.
Steelbacks
The Steelbacks are the smiths, armorers, and combat mechaniks who keep the Kithguardβs salvaged arsenal in fighting shape. They maintain advanced weapon systems, build Ramheads from battlefield scrap, and retrofit heavy weapons for the armyβs warbeasts.
Clad in steam-powered exo-armor and hauling enough tools to rebuild half a battlefield, Steelbacks are as dangerous in a brawl as they are in a repair yard.
Sidewinder
The Sidewinder is an ingenious weapon system wholly of trollkin design. This heavy gun is mounted on a cleverly engineered carriage that lets a single gunner drag it into position, then let rip when anything in its path needs turning into a fine pink mist.
Built to shred airborne threats, itβs just as effective turning land targets into scrap.
Hailer
The Hailer is a light support weapon crewed by a pair of pygs who somehow manage to make βlugging around an oversized gunβ look like a calling in life. Effectively a heavier cousin to the old belt-fed Cygnaran chain gun, it trades elegance for a bigger bore and a louder opinion.
Itβs cumbersome, clumsy, and exactly the sort of thing the Kithguard pygs love. Once the barrels start spinning, your cover, subtlety, and your enemies are officially off the table.
Lieutenant Frag Thornbane
Beloved by the Steelbacks and tolerated by anyone standing too close, Lieutenant Frag Thornbane is a charismatic brawler with a dangerous enthusiasm for mechanika. He was never much good at the delicate side of engineering, so command was the next best thing.
Thornbane now leads his Steelbacks with gusto, a sharp eye for useful salvage, and a healthy disregard for enemy property. If thereβs a chance to capture some shiny new bit of hardware for the Kithguard, heβll be first in line to βinspectβ it.
Guard Post
The Kithguard were originally formed to defend the Southern Kriels against any threat that would encroach upon their territories. One of the organizationβs first acts was to establish a network of guard posts and watch towers across Alchiere to alert their forces in case of an enemy incursion.
Virtually from the inception of the Kithguard, its infantry forces have been trained to coordinate their operations with these lightly fortified positions and to depend upon them for logistical and fire support. Each guard post is typically manned by a pair of trollkin, one keeping watch with a spyglass and the other crewing a machine gun.
Reinforce your Kithguard

With the Auxiliary Expansion release, there's now a host of Kithguard options for you to mix and match your gun-toting, troll-fuelled army.Β
However you muster them, the Kithguard are coming to defend kith and kriel with grit, firepower, and no shortage of salvaged weaponry. Who's in?!
