Grymkin, Infernals, & Convergence – a new FronTier for Warmachine 3D launching March 2026
Warmachine players current, returning, and new: we have something very special for you today.
Three armies long absent from the battlefields of the Iron Kingdoms return to tabletops at last. Some of you may remember the terror of unholy bargains unravelling into demonic invasion, the creeping dread of twisted fairytales, and the relentless march of divine machines...
Now, the Infernals, Grymkin, and Convergence of Cyriss rise again!
Through the upcoming Warmachine 3D FronTier campaign, Warmachine 3D: Lost, Damned, & Salvation, these sought-after factions are making a comeback as high-quality STL files for home 3D printing. Some models have been resculpted for the modern Warmachine era. You might even see some faces you don’t recognise…
You’re doubly in luck, because the lore that made these factions a vital part of Iron Kingdoms history will also be made available again. Not familiar with the stories? Warmachine’s loremaster, Sherwin, can often be found in the #loremachine channel on the Warmachine Discord.
An of course, Mat Hart, Jamie Perkins, and the Warmachine dev team have been taking a close look at gameplay. Keep an eye out for closer looks, designer diaries, and more as we get closer to launch. If you’re not already, follow Warmachine in your favourite places so you get the news as it releases.
It’s been tough to get your hands on these factions for a while (even we’ve been itching to get our hands on them). Rather than a gradual release, we’re going whole hog with a FronTier where you can get all three complete armies at a bundle discount.
Sets will still be available in the 3D store the usual way after the campaign. The FronTier is most definitely for the “I want all the models, I want them now, and I want them at a discount” crew. (We see you, we respect you, and honestly, we’re a little scared of you. In, like, a good way.)
(For those without access to a 3D printer, physical sets will also be available in future in a similar way to previous Warmachine 3D armies.)
Infernals – Flames of wrath

Otherworldly creatures that lurked beyond the veil of the world since the dawn of time, the Infernals patiently waited to pierce reality and feast upon the souls of mankind.
In the ultimate reckoning, they rent the fabric of reality asunder to wage unholy war upon the Iron Kingdoms. Armies and nations fell before an unstoppable tide of horrors, cultists, and dark magic.
Expect raw offensive power and formidable momentum. Infernals trade finesse for unrelenting pressure, turning each engagement into a duel of attrition.
Grymkin – Nightmares made real

Grymkin are horrors pulled from the darkest corners of the imagination. These twisted fairytale fiends were brought kicking and screaming into being by the Old Witch of Khador in an attempt to punish the agents of the Infernals, and prevent the coming of their wicked masters.
At once whimsical and grotesque, the Grymkin are the embodiment of chaos, twisting reality to suit their own ends.
A board-control army at heart, Grymkin excels at punishing opponents through threat manipulation and unique Arcana abilities. Expect the unexpected, and still be surprised.
Convergence of Cyriss — Refinement towards perfection

The Convergence of Cyriss is a techno-religious order devoted to manifesting the machine goddess known as Cyriss, defined by precision engineering and calculated zeal. The Convergence believes machines to be holy conduits of divine will, and strive to replace their frail human bodies with clockwork vessels for their souls. Each Convergence warjack is a testament to Cyriss’ perfection.
Convergence armies emphasize positional play, predictive strikes, and synergistic interactions between warcasters and their legions of machines.
How does a FronTier campaign work?
FronTiers are similar to pre-orders. You pick what you’d like, check out, and then right after the FronTier ends, your Warmachine STLs will arrive!
Through Warmachine: Lost, Damned, & Salvation FronTier, you’ll get access to all three complete armies at a bundle discount. Here’s how it works:
Step one
Following the FronTier page now (before launch) means you’ll immediately get the STL to print Limited Edition Eilish Garrity, the Occultist.
Step two
Between now and launch, we’ll share updates with more details and reveals.
Step three
Once the FronTier is live, you’ll be able to choose one or multiple Tiers. There’s a Tier for each army, plus individual Command Starters for anyone who wants to give an army a go before getting the whole thing. To keep things simple, individual sets won’t be available during the FronTier, but will be in the Warmachine 3D store after the campaign.
Step four
After the FronTier ends, you’ll get the STLs immediately, so you can start printing and painting as soon as you like! And because the rules for all three armies are free in the Warmachine app, you can also start playing immediately.
Once more from the top! Here are the links again:
- Follow Warmachine: Lost, Damned, & Salvation and get Eilish Garrity free!
