Warmachine Wednesday — The horror and the heavy metal
Published on  Updated on

This week, the spotlight is firmly on Dusk Fane of Nyrro as we dive deeper into their deadly warlocks, monstrous warbeasts, and generally disconcerting eldritch forces.

We’ve also got a glorious look at Bandit,  the Gravedigger super heavy soon making its way to the front lines, plus details on our upcoming Fane of Nyrro livestream.

Today’s TL;DR

  • Fane of Nyrro’s first wave releases June 23

  • Get a closer look at Hysene and Fane’s light and heavy warbeasts in spotlights coming later this week

  • Rules for Death’s Whisper, Fane of Nyrro’s upcoming army box, are available now

  • Live paint and chat for Fane of Nyrro this Thursday

  • Sneak peek at Bandit painted, the upcoming Gravediggers super heavy, direct from Mat’s painting desk

The Executioner’s Toll approaches

Executioner’s Toll arrives next week on June 23, bringing eldritch power, terrifying warbeasts, and Hysene’s swinging blade.

To help you prepare for the oncoming eldritch onslaught, we’ll be taking a closer look at what makes the Fane of Nyrro tick in two upcoming gameplay spotlights. On Thursday and Friday this week, we’ll be joining Fraser from the Warmachine dev team to delve deeper into Vordak, Strygon, and Hysene.

Death’s Whisper calls

Fane have lain in wait for long enough, and they’re not waiting any longer. The next wave is already stirring — or should that be whispering?

Spymaster Ashmael and his shadow shifting assassins are just dying to meet you. The rules for Death’s Whisper just released in the Warmachine app, so you can start theorymachining before pre-orders open on June 23.

Join the Fane of Nyrro paint & chat this Thursday

With yesterday’s rules drop and Fane’s first releases looming on the horizon, we know you’ve got questions!

Join us tomorrow over on the Warmachine YouTube from 7pm BST for a live paint and chat with the Warmachine design team — Mat Hart, Jamie Perkins, and Fraser McFetridge — to pick their brains on Fane and find out what makes these eldritch forces such a unique threat on the battlefield.

Cygnar intel – Bandit’s getting battle-ready

The latest super heavy soon to be rolling off the production line is one you might remember from our AdeptiCon keynote earlier this year, where we gave you a behind-the-scenes peek into Cygnar’s production facility.

Well, Mat couldn’t resist slapping paint on this pack-leading warjack as soon as it landed (can you blame him?!), so today’s sneak preview comes direct from Mat’s painting desk:

This unstoppable piece of trencher engineering is almost ready to join the front line, bringing even more firepower and resilience to an already unbreakable battleline.

The trenches are waiting; Bandit won’t be far behind.
