It’s Warmachine Wednesday, and the week ahead is locked, loaded, and possibly mutating in a lab somewhere deep beneath Midfast.
Whether you’re reinforcing your Crucible Guard with fresh industrial-strength “solutions,” gearing up to pre-order the Kithguard Core Expansion, or clearing shelf space for a gargantuan with a corpse-based diet, there’s something landing this week with your name on it.
Today’s TL;DR
-
Kithguard Core Expansion pre-order — Jungle stirs once more
-
Rules inbound — FronTier armies hit the app
-
More alchemical firepower — Crucible Guard reinforcements deploy
-
The Gorger releases — Ancient hunger hits the tabletop
-
Grimtusk spotlight — A closer look at the Kithguard’s newest warcaster
Into the canopy — Kithguard Core Expansion
The Kithguard Core Expansion is moving into position for pre-order soon. Make the most of the Kithguard reinforcements with new solos, more tunnel rats and an ambushing heavy?!
If your idea of a good time involves ambush tactics, heavy warbeasts, and making your opponent check every patch of terrain twice, this one’s for you.
War paint and warpath — Grimtusk spotlight
If you like your warlock fierce and relentless, you’ll be right at home with Tarja Grimtusk. She doesn’t just lead from the front. She retools Jungle Trolls into precision strike weapons and turns ambush tactics into an art form. Fast repositioning. Large battlegroups. Coordinated jungle strikes that hit hard and disappear before the counterpunch lands.
We’ll be breaking down her rules, her feat, and exactly how she transforms the Kithguard playstyle in a full article coming soon.
Print. Plan. Prepare — FronTier rules inbound
You’ve seen the models. You’ve seen the previews. You’ve probably already theory crafted three lists in your head.
The Warmachine app will be updated March 10 with the fully updated rules for Grymkin, Infernals, and Convergence of Cyriss. That means it’s list-building time, baby!
Follow FronTier on MyMiniFactory to get notified when the armies drop, and don’t forget to grab your free Eilish Garrity, the Occultist STL while you’re there.
Applied aggression — Crucible Guard reinforcements deploy
If your solution to a problem involves controlled detonation, good news.
Crucible Guard reinforcements arrive March 5, and the Order of the Golden Crucible is once again taking a hands-on approach to battlefield chemistry. Expect volatile compounds, disciplined firepower, and most likely at least one incident report filed in triplicate.
Hazard pay included — Crucible Guard Auxiliary Expansion
The Crucible Guard Auxiliary Expansion joins Warmachine 3D this week and marches straight into the Steamforged store as well. Delivering specialist personnel, armoured infantry, and “failed” experiments that most armies would consider a PR concern.
Whether you’re printing at home or going physical, this is your chance to add more alchemical muscle to your force.
Deploy responsibly. Or don’t.
Bigger gun. Better hypothesis — Vulcan rolls out
When the Crucible Guard needs something conclusively removed from existence, they deploy the Vulcan.
This colossal is less warjack and more rolling incident report. Aqua Mortuum rockets, corrosive payloads, a chassis that screams “overcompensation” in the best possible way. The Vulcan has it all.
Need a centrepiece? Need a conversation starter? Need a crater?
The Vulcan is ready for field testing.
Madman with a mixture — Gorman di Wulfe
Every lab has that one alchemist who shouldn’t be left unattended for any length of time. Gorman di Wulfe, Revolutionary Agent, is that alchemist. Pick your flavour of catastrophe and let the battlefield be his test subject.
Ready to recruit this week. Results may vary.
Ancient appetite — The Gorger arrives
The Gorger has arrived, dragged snarling from the dark woods of Old Umbrey and pointed at the enemies of the Old Witch.
This is not a typical beast. It is hunger given form. Bone and shadow bound by the Old Witch’s will, lumbering forward, wrapped in ancient warding, hungry and ready for your collection.
Crashing onto tabletops soon. Feed it wisely.
