IRON GAUNTLET 2025
Prepare for the ultimate clash of metal and magic — Warmachine’s Iron Gauntlet is back for a new season of matched play.
Throughout 2025, players from around the world will take part in official Iron Gauntlet Qualifiers, with top performers earning their way to the Iron Gauntlet Finals at Lock & Load US and the Iron Gauntlet EU finals.
You’ll need to be a decent tactician with good knowledge of the game and one or two practiced lists. (Start building yours now in the Warmachine app.) Be prepared for epic highs, adrenaline-fuelled lows, and an experience for the ages!

Iron Gauntlet is Warmachine’s flagship matched play event series.
A season-long challenge where players build their best lists, attend sanctioned qualifiers, and climb the leaderboard to earn a coveted seat at the Iron Gauntlet Finals.
Qualifiers are open to all players. The more events you play, the better your chances of rising to the top. You only need your best three results to count.

Iron Gauntlet Qualifiers will take place worldwide throughout 2025. Attend as many as you like — only your top three scores will count.
We’re currently working on an official solution to locate sanctioned qualifiers local to you, stay tuned.
For now we recommend searching Longshanks to find events near you, make sure to check the event description to ensure the event you choose to attend is an official qualifier.

Interested in running an Iron Gauntlet 2025 event in your area?
To make your event an official Iron Gauntlet qualifier, get your event sanctioned. Tournament Organisers (TOs) should complete the request form here:
Request sanctioning for your event
Once your event is approved, it’ll count toward the 2025 leaderboard, and your attendees will be eligible to earn Iron Gauntlet points.
Follow your progress and see where you stand. The leaderboard will be updated every two weeks during the 2025 season.

Looking Ahead – Iron Gauntlet Europe
Iron Gauntlet Europe begins in 2025. While the first European Finals won’t take place until 2026, any sanctioned qualifiers held during 2025 will count toward the 2026 leaderboard.
