Amongst the Crucible Guard's ranks of Rocketmen are the adrenaline junkies. Rocketman Stingers — individuals who don’t just endure their training but come to love every moment of it. Some advance through the ranks to become captains, while others go off on their own as high-flying aces. Then there are the stingers.

Rocketman stingers are obsessed with danger to the point of neurosis, and if it weren’t for their skills and training, the Crucible Guard might consider them for trancer experimentation. Instead, stingers are assigned one of the most challenging tasks in battle for a rocketman: to fly directly at the enemy and get close enough to inject their troops, warbeasts, and warjacks with a variety of foul chemicals. 

Each stinger is equipped with a pair of needle-like alchemical injectors protruding from their gloves, along with a backpack canister holding assorted alchemical concoctions. Excitedly, they fly straight toward their foes, dropping from the air just long enough to deliver their deadly concoction before zipping away to the next target.
