Who is Connor McCoy?

A little unconventional. A lot explosive. McCoy doesn’t fit the typical mould — but then, neither do the Gravediggers.

McCoy’s no ordinary warcaster. He’s an engineering prodigy turned war hero, who channels his pain into precision. Haunted by loss and driven by purpose, McCoy takes the field not just to win — but to keep his demons quiet with the roar of cannon fire.

“Uniquely amongst his peers, Captain Connor McCoy—affectionately known as ‘Boom Boom’ to the soldiers serving under his command—takes to the battlefield not on foot but from atop the turret of his custom outfitted assault strider.

An engineering savant with a fascination with explosives and artillery, McCoy discovered his aptitude as a prospective warcaster at fifteen years old when he realized he could communicate directly with the mind of a warjack. Since then McCoy has further refined his skill to that of a fully-fledged warcaster, capable of leading an entire battlegroup in the field and coordinating them alongside the other elements of his forces.

A man still troubled by the deaths of his parents during the Infernal War, McCoy not only takes to the battlefield against the Orgoth through duty to protect his nation, but also to find escape. Having long since given up trying to come to terms with his grief, only when surrounded by chaos and the deafening concussive blasts of his cannons can McCoy hold the inner demons that scream for vengeance at bay.”
