Euthia: Cruel Frost Kickstarter Launches May 2nd
On May 2nd this year, the critically acclaimed and highly rated fantasy RPG board game, Euthia, will return to Kickstarter as a complete trilogy, including the new and final chapter, Euthia: Cruel Frost!
The Cruel Frost expansion will bring the epic story of Euthia to a chilling climax with challenging new scenarios, more characterful heroes, and hair-raising enemies…

What is Euthia?
Step into an evolving world of magic and monsters, where death is just part of the journey…
Euthia is an open world fantasy board game for 1-4 players that’s highly rated by both players and reviewers (currently 8.6 on BoardGameGeek). Described as ‘Diablo-esque’ by reviewers, it can be played co-op, competitively, or solo.
If you’re curious to know more about gameplay, there are tons of reviews and playthrough videos for the core game on YouTube. We’ll also be sharing a closer look next week as we begin our journey to the final chapter.
As for the real-world backstory, some of you may remember that back in 2022, we partnered with Diea Games, the studio that created Euthia, to help bring Euthia back to life after Diea’s crowdfunding campaign was sadly cancelled.
Together with Diea, we successfully resurrected Euthia on Kickstarter with the help of over 7,500 backers!
Fittingly, that resurrection also included the necromantic expansion, Fierce Powers & Crawling Shadows, starring a power-hungry necromancer… who we’ll learn more about in the coming weeks. 💀
Fulfilment of the Euthia Resurrected Kickstarter is complete, and backers are sharing gameplay stories, painted mini photos, and more in the Discord and Facebook group as we speak.
But Euthia teeters on a knife edge once again.
It is a world overrun by beasts and torn apart by magical warfare. Tormented by dragons and monsters born of dark Faer magic, and corrupted by necromantic sorcery that poisons the earth.
Only true heroes, willing to face death and pay the price of resurrection, have stood between Euthia and destruction.
Now, the land faces a threat the likes of which haven’t been seen for aeons.
For millennia, the Ice Clans and their Entities have guarded the forbidden secrets of ice magic, until a malevolent Queen seized that power and drove them from their lands.
With no choice but to flee, members of the Ice Clans have journeyed to Euthia to warn its people and pledge themselves to fight. Together, they hope to help return balance to the land and keep the cruel frost at bay.
But the Spider Queen’s closing grip casts a dark shadow over the realm. As it grows colder and the land begins to change, our heroes must learn to face dangerous Chill magic and freezing storms, using new resources and armour brought by the Clans to help withstand the cold.
Yet, they won’t be alone. New heroes will pledge themselves to the cause, willing to face death and resurrection to end the Spider Queen’s reign before all are plunged into a frozen nightmare…
