Crossover Minis, UKGE & Official Accessories | Guild Ball Update 5
Welcome back, sports fans! Jamie Perkins here with your latest update.
Minor Guild Crossover Minis
As you’ll know, this week was slated for the release of the Minor Guild crossover minis. We’ll be pushing that back for a couple of reasons.
First off, we received the batch of test samples earlier this week, and there are still some tweaks we want to make before we’re happy to make these live.
Second off, we’d like to reduce the outstanding orders further first. Although a significant number have been completed (more than 85% of the total orders to date), we want to be sure everything is working as it should be before adding a new wave of orders into the mix.
To help with this, our partners have allocated a dedicated section of printers with dedicated staff specifically for Steamforged orders, also helping to ensure consistent QC.
We’ve also recently added a new member to the Steamforged support team, to help speed up response times.
In the meantime, we thought we’d share with you this alternative Mist sculpt that we found locked away in a super-secret-storage-vault. This is the very Mist we’ll be including in the Union x Order crossover mini set.
If you’ve got questions, you can usually find us in the Steamforged or Community Discords.
Finally, we’ve been made aware of some instances where the images shown on the website don’t exactly match the STL’s, meaning miniatures look different when they arrive. The website images are being updated next week.
And while we're here, a few other updates:
Guild Ball at UKGE
Reminder to get your tickets for the Guild Ball event at UKGE before time runs out!
It’s a community organised and run event that we’re incredibly happy to be sponsoring.
There are some great prizes on offer, including vouchers, trophies, and limited edition minis.
It’s at the NEC in Birmingham on Saturday, June 1st.
Official Guild Ball Dice
We know many of you miss the official Guild Ball accessories, and we’ve been working behind-the-scenes on partnerships with exciting creators in different areas of the industry.
In the last update, we announced a partnership with Deepcut Studios to create licensed Guild Ball playmats. Today, we’re happy to introduce Baron of Dice!
We’ll be working with Baron of Dice to develop an official range of Guild Ball cutlery. Just kidding. It’ll be dice, of course!
It’s been quite a while since we last released Guild Ball dice, and we’re happy to be working with an up-and-coming manufacturer to bring them back to life.
Last, but certainly not least, we’d like to introduce Frontline Gaming! For our US-based sports fans, we’re working with the awesome team at Frontline to develop new neoprene playmats.
That’s all we have for you today, sport fans. Until next time!
