In case you missed it, the P3 Grandmaster painting competition is back for AdeptiCon 2025, hosted by Steamforged Games at booth 810!
Whether you’re an experienced painter or just getting into the hobby, this is your chance to show off your skills and maybe even walk away with the title of P3 Grandmaster 2025.
We’ve even got a special guest judge this year — it’s Ninjon!
Open category
Submit any painted miniatures from Steamforged Games — up to 8 models per entry. Enter a single miniature or a full scene. It’s your canvas!
Awards
Every entry will be judged on its own merit. That means multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals could be awarded — it’s all about your skill. But only one entry will be crowned P3 Grandmaster 2025!
Our judges may also award Honourable Mentions for standout entries that deserve some extra recognition. There’s plenty of opportunities to place, so don’t hesitate about submitting!
How do I enter?
- Head to booth 810 at AdeptiCon
- Fill out an entry form
- Drop off your entries between 10:00AM and 5:00 PM on Thursday and Friday, or 10:00AM and 1:00PM on Saturday
The Official Bit
- All entries must feature Steamforged Games miniatures.
- Conversions and scratch-building are welcome — just keep it within the world and spirit of Steamforged.
- You can use third-party terrain and accessories (resin bases, scenic elements, etc.), as long as they’re not from another miniatures game.
- All entries must be painted by the person entering. You’ll need to hand them in yourself, with ID, and collect them in person.
- Entries must be mounted on a base. Display bases are fine, but the full entry (including base) must fit within 280mm x 320mm.
- You can enter up to three separate times.
- While we’ll take every care with your models, Steamforged isn’t responsible for any accidental damage.
- All entries must be accompanied by a completed form. You’ll get a numbered ticket, which you’ll need to present to collect your entry. Keep it safe!
- Any entries not collected by 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 30 will become property of Steamforged Games.
- By entering, you give us permission to photograph your work and possibly feature it in our content.
- Steamforged staff and immediate family aren’t eligible to enter.
- Judge decisions are final.
