Rock & Troll: Meet Wroughtmourn and her battlegroup of brutes
The Southern Kriels Kithguard have brought their spiny allies along to feed upon any who dare tread upon Kith territory in Alchiere.
Bellowing out of the Alchiere Jungles come the voracious trolls of the Kithguard Battlegroup. Led by the traditional trollkin battle-shaman Fell Captain Mailis Wroughtmourn, these trolls are not to be underestimated. This elite group of warbeast and warcaster are as intelligent as they are strong.
Donning mighty cannons, machetes, and assault weapons, the ferocity of a Jungle Troll, or the stampede of a Mistborn Dire Troll could easily be mistaken for a bristly blue hurricane of death.
Mount up ‘yer pygs, Pre-order opens today for the Kithguard Battlegroup Box. Kit out your mountain & jungle trolls, and deliver destruction when they release on March 26.

Shamanistic tendencies — Kithguard Battlegroup Box

Fell Captain Mailis Wroughtmourn’s a battle shaman of the Gnarls, old ways, deep roots, and enough Dhunian grit to make a mountain flinch. She left home to join Madrak’s expedition to Alchiere, spent time acting as an ambassador to the bullcroaks, and now helps train the Kithguard’s next wave of battle shamans.
Wroughtmourn brings her boomstick to the Jungle. Her Double Barreled Scattergun can deliver a mighty blast unleashing both barrels at once.
Her feat, Mists of Dhunia, is bad news for enemies looking to make a long range attack as their vision is impeded by the thick mists which engulf the entire battlefield.
On top of generating this thick haze, she will channel the mist, allowing her to sling her array of offensive spells through trapdoor markers. Wroughtmourn will even set up a trap door and meddle with enemy spellcasting creating an Earthen Din. Because if the Kithguard are coming for you, they’re not coming quietly.
Bristle brothers — Mistborn Dire Troll

The mistborne dire trolls call the mountain peaks high above the jungles of Alchiere home. Though given to the boundless rage that typifies their kind, these beasts are also clever like the jungle trolls.
They possess the limited capacity for tool use and can be trained to wield weapons. Even more surprising, however, is their willingness to subject themselves to having heavy arms lashed to their backs to be crewed by pygs. This strange application of dire troll-mounted arms was first successfully attempted by the old United Kriels prior to the exodus, but was perfected by the Kithguard in Alchiere.
With an array of back mounted armaments at the behest of the Mistborn Dire Troll and its brave pyg pilot, this spiny beast is able to deliver arcing fire from its Bombard, blow them to smithereens with a Cannon, or turn foes into swiss cheese with the Dual Metal Storm’s volume fire.
You could say the Mistborn Dire Troll packs quite a punch…and you’d be right, it loves a well landed punch. So much so the Kithguard have outfitted the beast with Punching Blades and Bucklered Fists, perfect for getting up close and personal to ensure a hit lands.
Reckless in nature, and on the battlefield. Equip your Mistborn with a Blazing Star and begin swinging at everything in LOS with Thresher, not even your allies are safe when your spined friend gets their grips on a Blazing Star.
Fighting hunger — Jungle Troll

Swinging from trees into the fray are the natives to Alchiere’s dense canopies. The Jungle Trolls are easily some of the most intelligent full-blooded trolls ever discovered. They take easily to weapons training and though simple-minded and primarily food motivated, can be forged into the rough semblance of a soldier.
Their lanky, long-limbed forms are ideal to life in the jungle, where they use the canopy like a series of roads and ladders to cross great distances quickly — they’re natural treewalkers.
Unlike other trolls, they also practice something akin to teamwork and can work together to bring down large prey before eating their fill and scattering alone once more to the jungle depths.
The Jungle Trolls sport a field allowance of four, meaning crafty Kithguard players can take full advantage of their wide range of combat tools at the Jungle Troll’s disposal, from POW 12 Flamethrowers, to the mighty momentum carrying siege weapon that is the Thumper. All incredibly deadly in the right hands, especially when taking both .
Perhaps you fancy your vine-swinging, twig-snapper in melee? Dual-wield big knives. Unsheathe their Machete & Combat Knife. Just don’t forget to clench one in your troll’s maw before a big swing, watch out for that tree!
Welcome to the jungle!

From dug-in trench lines to shadowed jungle trails, the Kithguard blend trollkin heart with military precision.
Pre-order your Battlegroup Box, tear through the jungles of Alchiere, and feed the trolls with your foes. The Kithguard are coming to a battlefield near you, and they’re going full scorched earth, coming March 26.
