The 3D printing revolution has opened up new ways to bring your games to life on the tabletop, and Warmachine isnβt going to be left out of the party.
Starting from tomorrow - thatβs right, tomorrow - and produced in conjunction with our friends at Titan-Forge and MyMiniFactory, the Warmachine Digital subscription will bring you a host of pre-supported STL miniatures every month, all sculpted to the same high standard as our physical miniatures.
The eagle-eyed among you will have noticed that weβre now releasing a new Warmachine army every three months, and Warmachine Digital supports that release with themed STL miniatures every month consisting of:
-
A variant warcaster/warlock from the latest new army release every month
-
Themed terrain sets every month
-
Warjack and warbeast conversion parts plus themed SR2025 objectives, defenses, base toppers, and accessories released across each three-month block
-
And a loyalty reward variant warcaster/warlock for every three consecutive months youβre subscribed
Month One - Gravediggers
The Warmachine Digital subscription begins with the release of the Cygnar Gravediggers, and in month one youβll get:
-
A variant Buck Hasker warcaster themed to the famous Ghost Dogs Trencher company
-
The first Gravediggers terrain set - Trenchers OutpostΒ
-
Plus Gravediggers themed base toppers and accessories.
Then across May and June youβll get Ghost Dogs variants of Grant Vargas and Allison Jakes, two more Gravediggers-themed terrain sets, Ghost Dogs-themed conversion parts for the Valiant and Patriot warjacks, and Gravediggers-themed defenses and SR2025 objectives.
Thereβs a Welcome Pack too
Thereβs also a free Welcome Pack thatβs jam-packed with Cryx Necrofactorium goodies (or baddies?), including the Keynote-stealing Hive Mind cadre.Β
Thatβs right, the Cephalyx are back.
The Hive Mind are a fully playable 30pt cadre force that can also be fielded in a Cryx Necrofactorium army. Paired with the rules in the Warmachine app, you can be playing Warmachine for free.
(And if you donβt have a printer, weβll also be selling physical versions of the Hive Mind on our website from late next month).
The Welcome Pack also contains Cephalyx-themed conversion parts for the Malefactor and Raptor warjacks, plus Cryx/Cephalyx themed-terrain, defenses, SR2025 objectives, base toppers, and accessories.
Okay, Iβm in. How do I subscribe?
Warmachine Digital goes live tomorrow, April 3rd, at 2pm BST / 9am Eastern over on MyMiniFactory.
You can sign up to be notified when it goes live and grab the Buck Hasker variant which is part of the first monthβs subscription too by heading to our sign up page here and signing up before 2pm BST tomorrow.
Once it all goes live tomorrow, youβll have a choice of two tiers.
The Warcaster tier is for if you just want to dip your toe in. For $5 a month, youβll get a variant warcaster STL miniature each month.
In April, youβll be getting Exulon Khythus from the Welcome Pack, but you can still get Buck Hasker by signing up before 2pm BST tomorrow. Then from May onwards youβll be getting that monthβs variant warcaster.
The Army Tier
But itβs the Army tier where all the action is. Youβll get the free Welcome Pack and all of the STL miniatures released each month.
Plus for every three consecutive months youβre subbed youβll also get the Loyalty reward of a fourth variant warcaster for that three-month blockβs army release. For the first three months, that means youβll be getting Captain Cynthia Rosko resplendent in Ghost Dogs finery.
The Army tier costs $10 a month, but not this month, because weβre launching Warmachine Digital at the Army tier for free in April.
Free?Β
