Before we begin today’s article, we want to share our sadness at the passing of John Blanche.
John was an incredibly talented fantasy and sci-fi illustrator and modeller whose work had immeasurable influence on the industry and the face of wargaming as we know it today.
John’s work touched the lives of thousands, and his legacy will live on in the worlds he was instrumental in shaping. Our condolences go out to John’s family and friends. He will be missed.

Mid-Year Update releases tomorrow, June 4

Super heavies have landed
A lighthouse-carrying crustacean has made landfall and a draconic nightmare has emerged from the shadows.
Make way for Ol' Scuttlebutt
The Southern Kriels Brinebloods have their first super heavy warbeast. Armed with a devastating tri-cannon, a crushing Shipwrecker claw, and the towering searchlight that guides the Brineblood advance, Ol' Scuttlebutt is ready to make waves across the battlefield.
A new shadow descends
The Shadow Seraph arrives for Khymaera Shadowflame Shard, bringing Saeryn's latest creation to the tabletop. Built to endure as well as destroy, this towering super heavy warbeast combines shadowflame, draconic fury, and powerful animi to weather enemy assaults while holding ground for Khymaera.
From the ruins of Eversael
Previewed during Lock & Load EU, Fane of Nyrro have emerged from the ruins of Eversael, bringing ancient eldritch warlocks, terrifying warbeasts, and an insatiable hunger for the life force of their enemies.
Leading the force is Hysene, the Executioner, wielding the massive Caelymourn and driving her army forward through relentless waves of assault.
Alongside her march the elite Strygon Riders, steadfast Fane Knights, the corpse-commanding Sythyss Prophet, and a collection of brutal warbeasts, including the feral Vordak and savage Strygon.
