Hold fast with the Liegemen Wardens, a dedicated frontline infantry unit available as a standalone set from the Old Umbrey Core Expansion. Tough, disciplined, and unyielding, these soldiers form the first line of defence.

Liegemen recruits that were strong in arm and stature but lacked other skills were absorbed into the standing line infantry. Equipped with axe and shield while adorning breastplates and scaled mail underneath, they march routinely to build the endurance to cross large swathes of rough terrain and maintain the vigor to fight. Trained to embed into enemy lines and survive to buy time for supporting units to get in position, they form the vanguard of Old Umbrean forces.
