Website Order Update | Warmachine
In the month since we announced the acquisition, we’ve seen a huge response across the board. From player and retailer orders to our email list and socials (especially Discord), signs for the Iron Kingdoms are all extremely positive.
While we’d anticipated a boom, even we’re humbled by the results. Since we announced, we’ve received a huge influx of requests for new retailer accounts. Our inbox is bursting with emails from wonderful channels and events organizers (both grassroots and wider scale) who want to help grow Warmachine. Meanwhile, we’re also getting stock ready for Gen Con and hope to see many of you there.
To handle the demand, we’ll need to adjust the website pre-order dates so shipping will now start from the end of July instead of mid-July. Kapitan Yana Kovoskiy’s release window, shared in the updated schedule, will also now move into August.
We know there may be some understandable frustration here due to the delays you’ve experienced in the past, and want to reassure you this is a temporary effect of us getting fully integrated with and taking over existing processes. One of our goals was to set realistic timelines, and that remains the case.
But what are we actually DOING about it?
We’re ramping up production on an expedited timeline. Plans were already in place to expand US production later this year. With all the incoming orders, we’ve sped that up to give us a 50% increase in US production by the end of August.
European production is on track to start in August, with other key territories, such as Australia, to follow as soon as possible. We’re currently reviewing and feeding back on new samples that arrived this week.
A side effect of higher orders is a need for more packaging with the updated legals and other Steamforged information, which is also being printed and shipped as we speak.
It’s been amazing to see the response and we’re hopeful it means a bright future for Warmachine. Everyone’s working full steam ahead to get models into players’ hands as fast as possible.
