A tree so corrupted by forces beyond mortal understanding, few who lay eyes on it live to tell the tale. Yet, rumours persist, shaken from shivering leaves and carried on a gloomy breeze to prickle at the skin of storytellers hunched around fires — weaving tales of wicked oak that stands sentinel over the abyss, and the souls brave enough to cleave it limb from limb…
