Over the past 10 years, we’ve spent countless hours at Steamforged HQ playing lengthy sessions of grand strategy board games like Twilight Imperium, Star Trek Ascendacy, War Room and many more. Our team includes not only avid campaign gamers and roleplayers, but experienced wargamers and history buffs who’ve sunk a lot of time into the Hearts of Iron video game for fun.

It’s safe to say we’re big fans of Hearts of Iron, and with over 200,000 positive reviews for the video game on Steam, we’re not alone!

So, when the opportunity came to work with the fantastic folks at Paradox Interactive to turn this incredible video game into a strategic board game, we were PUMPED.
