For Epic Encounters: Ruins of Symbaroum we wanted to push the boat out and include something completely new — player character minis!
Our sculptors created a stunning set of player character minis to join you in a tense heist adventure in The Gem in the Barrow, and today we’re getting up close and personal with one of these player character minis.
Meet the Knight
Found in Epic Encounters: Ruins of Symbaroum – The Gem in the Barrow, the Symbaroum knight mini is ideal for frontline players who love to charge into battle. And with three factions all vying for the mysterious gem, a scuffle is almost certainly on the cards.
A noble addition to your party, this swordsman stands ready to join the fray, inexplicably drawn to the gem and its promises of power. He's prepared to take on the twisted forests of Davokar and all that dwell within, to claim his prize. But at what cost?
Will you play the noble protector or the veteran warrior? Add this knight to your heist party and become the charismatic face, or the brooding soldier. How will you play this gleaming knight? The choice is yours.
What is the Gem in the Barrow?

The first of two roleplaying sets that make up our Ruins of Symbaroum collab with tabletop roleplay game legends, Free League Publishing, Gem in the Barrow is a tense heist adventure set against the mysterious, folkloric Forests of Davokar.
As Game Master you’ll revel in keeping your players guessing as they explore the barrow, in search of the ominous gem, whilst competing factions are closing in. Will they choose combat or collaboration as they come up against the Barbarians, Goblins and Elves also seeking the magical artifact?
The best part? Your prep work is basically zero — just grab the set and start weaving a dark fantasy adventure as if you’d planned it.
Players, you’ll love putting together your close-knit team from the player character minis included, then setting off together, in search of the artifact — but beware your competition! Will your party prevail?
