First Look at Pledge Levels! Street Masters: Champion Edition

Coming to Kickstarter February 21st, 2024, Street Masters is a highly-rated co-operative combat board game for 1-4 players inspired by beat ‘em up fighting video games (currently rated 8.0 on BoardGameGeek from 1400+ reviews).
Playable in both single sessions and campaigns, it combines all the bare-knuckles neon beauty of side-scrollers like Double Dragon, Streets of Rage, and Final Fight with tactical, card-driven combat to deliver serious challenges, engaging fights, and hours of replayability.
Before you dive in: Even though there's a LOT of content in Street Masters: Champion Edition, the 'plug and play' design and incredibly fast set-up time means the game takes only minutes to get to the table, as confirmed in many player reviews. So, you will actually be able to play through everything!
Street Masters: Champion Edition will be Kickstarter Exclusive
As you’ll see when we get to the pledge levels below, Street Masters is a huge game that was once spread over 10 different boxes from multiple crowdfunding campaigns. That’s an awful lot to manage, publish, and ship, and for backers to store. Especially because the more separate boxes a campaign has, the higher the cost.
So, we’ve taken those 10 boxes worth of content — plus the original stretch goals — and, using the production experience we’ve gained over multiple successful Kickstarters, we’ve combined the different sets to create a collection of three ultimate boxes.
Add in the new Lament of the Blood Moon expansion, and you’ve got the four boxes that make up Street Masters: Champion Edition!
By combining sets, we’re able to keep costs lower. However, even with the combined sets, Street Masters is still a massive game — especially now the boxes have been supersized to contain all that gameplay.
The sheer size and scope of these boxes means it would be prohibitively expensive to sell them through retail distribution. We can maintain these prices only by selling them direct to you via crowdfunding, or on our website. So, for those reasons, Street Masters: Champion Edition will be a Kickstarter exclusive campaign.
This doesn’t mean Street Masters will never be available outside of Kickstarter. There will be an extended late pledge lasting several months after the Kickstarter, and we often have additional copies after we fulfil the campaign, which means you might be able to get some items from the Steamforged store. And, if there’s enough demand, then we can always restock in future. It just means that availability isn’t guaranteed, and that it won’t be available in traditional retail stores.

Because Street Masters isn’t a brand new game, we understand different backers will want different things. So, without making the campaign too complicated, we’ve structured the pledge levels with that in mind.

New Challenger Pledge
Who’s it for? New players who want the base game and core experience
What’s included? This pledge combines a ton of content from the first Street Masters Kickstarter, including the Rise of the Kingdom core game, the original stretch goals, the Legend of Oni expansion, the Twin Tigers expansion, and Redemption Pack 1 into one ultimate box (named ‘Street Masters: Rise of the Kingdom’).
The New Challenger Pledge includes all this for just $139, which is $36 less than it cost to get all these items previously (and that’s not even including stretch goals!).

Who’s it for? Backers who want EVERYTHING from the live Kickstarter at a bundle discount! (The ‘everything’ pledge levels are usually the most popular.)

What’s included? This pledge combines all the new content from the Tide of the Dragon campaign, including the Tide of the Dragon (which can be played both as a standalone game, and as an expansion), the Rumble Pack, and the New Challengers Pack, into one ultimate box that we’re calling Street Masters III: Tide of the Dragon.
At just $69, the Aspirant Pledge is a great entry point to the world of Street Masters.
Veteran Fighter Pledge
Who’s it for? Veteran Street Masters players who want the brand new expansion!
What’s included? Street Masters IV: Lament of the Blood Moon, which is the new, Kickstarter exclusive gameplay expansion for this Kickstarter, and all the unlocked goals.
At just $49, the Veteran Fighter Pledge is a great way to inject fresh blood into your Street Masters game, with brand new minions, bosses, stages, story, and more!
Tide of the Dragon Backers
If you’re a Tide of the Dragon backer waiting on rewards from the Blacklist Games campaign, and would also like to pledge for this Kickstarter, then good news: if you back any pledge level, it means we can combine costs to ship your outstanding Tide of the Dragon rewards to you for no additional cost!

Update on VAT

Due to the way VAT is collected in Europe, and its impact on crowdfunding sites in the EU, we can no longer set prices that aren’t VAT exclusive.
