What’s Inside?
The quickstart guide includes:
- Core rules for running an adventure
- A one-shot adventure (more details below!)
- Readymade player characters (which you can download character sheets for here)
- And of course, a bestiary!
The adventure will take you to the bustling city of Varrock, where a recent crime wave has cast a shadow over the once-lively streets. With King Roald yet to respond and put his people at ease, it's up to you and your friends to bring back the city's cheer and restore peace.

Errata
Sometimes, like video games, tabletop games need minor bug fixes. But, whereas video games can send out updates at the push of a button, tabletop games need something called an ‘errata’ instead.
You can download the RuneScape Kingdoms RPG errata here.
The errata is a short PDF that includes patch notes for bug fixes, telling you what’s been updated, which you can print and tuck into your RuneScape Kingdoms core rulebook. Some Game Masters (GM’s) even make notes directly in their book.
(Just don’t tell Richard, our lead RPG writer, if you do. It’ll hurt his soul.)

We’ve loved seeing some of the homebrew ideas people are coming up with online, and the Steamforged Discord is a great place to share them with other tabletop RuneScape players.
We’ll be going into more detail on the system, combat, and crafting in an upcoming video series created to help you get started with RuneScape Kingdoms TTRPG and answer some common questions.
