This August we’re diving into some evocative releases, eerie slave-drivers from Cephalyx past, and brutal brilliance from the borderlands of Umbrey.

Here’s what’s coming to your STL collections this August.

Old Umbrey channels its extreme power in new sculpts

Old Umbrey – Extreme Kapitan Maksim Azlanov

Kapitan Maksim Azlanov

Kapitan Maksim Azlanov legendary folk warlock of the new Old Umbrey Core Expansion arrives in Extreme sculpt form, captured in a storm-lit moment of raw power. Sword raised high, eyes set like iron, cloak whipping behind him, he’s not posing. He’s becoming. You can almost hear the rumble in the air, feel the crackle of fate. "There can be only one."

Whether you’re planning to paint him in the Umbrean plate of the Liegemen or give him a windswept, cinematic base, this sculpt is one for the spotlight.

A character piece in every sense — bold on the shelf, commanding on the battlefield. Maksim is available to print at the Army & Warcaster Tier, and he’ll be making a strong case for best in show this August.

Old Umbrey – Conversion Parts

August's conversion pack taps directly into the soul of umbrey — both the wisdom of its wilds and the fury of its beasts. Two distinct sets of head and limb options let you personalise your Feral & Primeval warbeasts from the Old Umbrey Battlegroup Box with mythic intensity.

The Primeval set evokes the spirits of the deep wood: antlered seers, masked stalkers, and ritual hunters long whispered about in borderland tales. They look like stories carved into bark and bone.

The Feral set is something else entirely — snarling, mutated, and barely contained. Tusked maws, scaled ridges, and clawed limbs speak of a power twisted by hunger and honed in survival.

Mix and match to create a force that reflects the path your Umbreans have chosen — prophecy or primal instinct.

Old Umbrey – Terrain Pack

There’s a weight to Umbrey — a sense that the land itself remembers. The Old Umbrey Terrain Pack captures that perfectly, with a full suite of printable pieces that turn your battlefield into a frost-covered relic of a forgotten age.

At the centre of the set stands a crumbling chapel and a weatherworn tower — striking centrepieces that lend themselves to siege scenarios, hidden rites, or last stands beneath a darkening sky.

Surrounding them, you’ll find pine trees, shattered pillars, barricades, soul cairns, scatter terrain, and frozen ridges that hint at the Devourer’s presence just beneath the soil.

Perfect for skirmish or full-scale warfare, this set gives you both the flavour and function to bring Old Umbrey to life — or what’s left of it.

Dark Operations – Drudge Slayers

The Drudge Slayers return in force in August, combining their classic sculpts with five grotesquely reimagined new poses. Reengineered for 3D print detail, these brutal enforcers carry all the menace of their tabletop origins — but now with even more twisted personality.

Fully playable in Dark Operations, they’re ideal for building out a force that plays from the shadows and hits like a sledgehammer.

And if you want to lean harder into horror, Exulon Nostilla & The Aberration make an excellent pairing — and are free with an annual Warmachine app subscription.

More Drudges. More madness. Just how we like it.

Dark Operations – Mind Slavers

In Cephalyx society, the Mind Slaver exists to do one thing: subjugate. Those it captures aren’t killed — they’re repurposed.

Surgically restructured into drudges, their wills shattered and rewritten through psychic domination. The process is as clinical as it is terrifying, and the result is always the same: another body in service of the hive.

Playable in Dark Operations, the Mind Slaver is a natural fit alongside the Drudge Slayers and makes an unnervingly effective pairing with Exulon Nostilla & The Aberration (get them FREE with a Warmachine App annual sub!)

Submission isn’t requested. It’s taken.

“We are one mind with countless appendages.” — Mind Slaver Virex
