Crucible fire, Lock & Load preparation, and one very sinister MiniCrate — Warmachine Wednesday - Steamforged Games
Published on  Updated on

There’s plenty brewing in the Iron Kingdoms this week, from the Crucible Guard’s next wave of physical releases to Lock & Load plans brewing on both sides of the globe.

We’ve also got a sinister Cryx Necrosurgeon swapping butcher’s blades for the hive’s cephalomek in this month’s MiniCrate, and a look at print-at-home Menoth armour that turned heads in the AdeptiCon keynote.

Today’s TL;DR

  • Crucible Guard expands its armoury —  with a wave of physical breakout boxes, led by its versatile warjacks and backed by infantry, rocketmen, alchemical specialists, and armoured shock troops

  • Join us at Lock & Load US 2026 — Badges drop next week!

  • Prepare for a Warmachine weekend to remember — Badges are live for Lock & Load EU 2026

  • Master Exulon Sepsira awaits your latest corpse harvest — Lock in your MiniCrate subscription for this sinister Cephalyx sculpt

  • Become the acolyte you’ve always wanted to be — Print your own full-sized Menoth armor set at home with Galactic Armory’s officially licensed STLs

Fire up the Crucible

Next week, Crucible Guard’s requisitioned reinforcements make their way onto the battlefields of Western Immoren in new breakout boxes.

At the front of the column are the Guard’s two proven warjack chassis: the hard-hitting heavy warjacks, Toro, Vindicator or Suppressor and the ever-reliable Light Warjacks Vanguard, Liberator, and Retaliator, both a testament to Crucible Guard’s robust forges.

Backing them up is a properly dangerous mix of disciplined infantry, soaring Rocketmen, crack-shot gunners, battlefield mechaniks, and enough alchemical expertise to make any sensible opponent reconsider becoming a name on the guard’s hit-list.

In need of a unit or solo to bolster your ranks? Get your Crucible Guard army list battle-ready in time for the release next week.

Fancy forging your own? Check out the full range of Crucible Guard print-at-home STLs over on the Warmachine 3D store.

Sepsira minds her business in a Cephalyx twist MiniCrate

This month’s MiniCrate sports even more blood, gore, and leather than usual. Master Exulon Sepsira takes the familiar, ghoulish silhouette of Master Necrosurgeon Sepsira and gives her a wonderfully unsettling new Cephalyx twist.

It’s also fully playable in Cryx Necrofactorium as a direct swap for Master Necrosurgeon Sepsira. Lock in your MiniCrate subscription by April 27 to get your hands on Sepsira.

Tap into your inner zealot

Fancy taking Warmachine into the workshop? Galactic Armory brings officially licensed cosplay files into the setting, and one of the standout releases is the Warmachine Menoth Helmet and Armour set.

The pack includes life-sized STL files for the helmet, armour, shield, and spear. If you’ve ever wanted to stride around like a Protectorate acolyte with very strong opinions about unbelievers, consider this your holy calling.

Until next week

Whether you’re forging a Crucible Guard army so brimming with alchemical potential it’d make even Gorman di Wulfe cry, or pulling your mates together for a weekend at Lock & Load, we want to hear all of it on the Warmachine channels.

Also, show us your minis! Or better yet, show us your most zealous pose in your new Menoth armour. You’re not a heretic, are you?
