This week’s Heroes & Villains lore drop is all about the enigmatic and magnetic Bohdan Lesnoi, Apostle of the Witch.

Bohdan’s full Heroes & Villains lore entry is available now in the app, and it’s one of the most unsettling entries we’ve dropped yet.
“A cacophonous shadow drapes itself over the canopies of the forests of Umbrey, shrill cackling punctuating the air as a murder of crows descends. A lone robed figure passes beneath the grim procession, and each village gathers to meet him with a mixture of wonderment and dread as he approaches. His eyes are inescapable, his voice and demeanor commanding, and they eagerly accept his words of salvation as though there were no other choice.
The figure’s supernatural charisma can deftly sway the hearts and minds of even hardened opponents, but the message of his words is what reaches the people. The Umbrean citizens yearn for a return to their ancient glory, and thanks to him, a new path avails itself, should they have the courage to grasp it..”

This month brings a gritty mix of Gravedigger defences, Ghost Dog variants, and Cephalyx horrors ready to hit your tabletop — or your nightmares.
