Blood tells out as Cynthia joins the Gravediggers | Warmachine Wednesday
It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for your weekly Warmachine update!

GAMA update
A bunch of us are at GAMA Expo in Louisville, which means we’re busy catching up with local gaming stores and distributors about Warmachine and P3. The response has been phenomenal so far!
So many retailers are excited to see new life in Warmachine, and telling us all about the communities springing up in their stores.
If you’re heading to your local store each week to get games in — maybe even on a Wednesday — then a huge thank you for being part of growing Warmachine.
Speaking of growing Warmachine, every year, ICv2 does a State of the Industry report at GAMA. In this year’s report, Warmachine had already cracked the top 10 miniatures lines, which was incredible to see.
One last thing. We won’t share them here, but a stealthy individual grabbed photos of slides from our premier presentation to retailers. If you enjoy soft spoilers, you may want to join our Discord if you haven’t already.

Cygnar Gravediggers pre-order launches tomorrow

Although they’re a new army, the Gravediggers have a very long history in the Iron Kingdoms. There’s already Gravediggers lore available, which you can access by subscribing in the Warmachine app (including new lore released today, detailed below), and we’ll be releasing more in the coming weeks.
Birth of a legacy – Allister Caine’s daughter leads a Cygnar army
Meet Cynthia “Cyn” Rosko, warcaster in the upcoming Gravediggers Battlegroup Box available to pre-order from tomorrow.
Cynthia may belong to a new generation of Cygnaran warcasters, but blood tells out. As the illegitimate daughter of legendary Cygnar warcaster, Allister Caine, she inherited more than his gift for magic — she also gained Caine’s mischief and stubborn resolve.

Unlike Allister, deep childhood trauma gave Cynthia a clear-eyed view at the danger Cygnar faces from those who would destroy it. This tempered her rebel spirit with a sense of duty, something her father would take years to come by, and makes her a formidable force in her own right.
With her father’s natural command of magic, Cynthia moved quickly through training, though she would be the first to admit she still has much to learn. While she has some of her father’s tendencies for magic, her traumatic abduction and attempted conditioning at the hands of Cryxian warwitches saw her gift move in a distinctly different direction; one she embraces with measured willpower.
As Cygnaran forces evolve to a new age of warfare, Cynthia’s taken to heart the airborne doctrine of the Gravediggers. She is well versed in these tactics, and drops without fear behind enemy lines to sow a chaos all her own. Although, unlike Allister, Cynthia took naturally to a soldier’s life, she still shares her father’s flare for drama.
In their current callings, Cynthia and her father do not often see one another, but they continue to share a strong bond. Neither would ever let the other down if it were within their power. Moreover, Cynthia delights in showing her father up; one day, she might well be the one to pull him from the fire.
