Cognifex Cyphon glides onto the battlefield like a waking headache. He’s a domineering Cephalyx warcaster with a gift for unpicking enemy plans, scrambling minds, and making a mess of anyone who gets too close.
If you’re after a leader who brings equal parts brainpower and body horror, Cyphon’s your horror.
Dark Operations – Drudge Conduits
As you’d expect from the Cephalyx, these aren’t volunteers. Drudge Conduits are lesser minds carved and crafted into obedient conduits for psychic force. They’re selected for their... limited aspirations and reconditioned with a touch of cranial plumbing.
Used in battle, their fate is grim but brief: one glorious psychic assault as they channel a warcaster’s will, then lights out, cranium fried, next drudge please.
Dark Operations – Agitators
Low in cephalyx caste, high in battlefield nuisance.
Agitators are the hive’s monstrosity wranglers, goading drudges and heavier creations into doing something suitably violent. They may not get much respect from their betters, but they’ve got a vital battlefield role all the same.
Someone has to keep the hive running.
